Despite what some people believe, love and dating are two separate entities. People who choose to date do so with the hope of falling in love. However, dating seldom starts out with love.

Being considerate of someone else’s feelings goes a long way today. When your date has different views from yours, do not degrade or minimize his or her opinion. This can end a relationship faster than anything else.

Setting boundaries for each other is a necessary step in any relationship. You need to stay within the boundaries and respect the other person’s rights.

Take the relationship slowly and do not become a cling on. Many people who are desperate to find love tend to cling to the person they are dating. Constant phone calls, and showing up unannounced or expensive gifts can end a relationship quickly.

There are dangers everywhere in the world today, this is not to say that you should not try to find true love, only that you need to be cautious and not let the need of wanting someone in your life override your common sense.
